OVERVIEW
Iron Ore Pellets are created by compressing finely ground iron ore and other additives into a uniform shape and size leading to superior permeability due to size uniformity. These pellets are a critical raw material in the steel industry, as they provide a consistent and efficient way to introduce iron into the steelmaking process, contributing to the production of high-quality steel products. The uniform chemical composition of our pellets ensure a high quality of steel produced from it. We use the highest standards of processes and technologies, including the Straight Grate Technology, which are accessed from Russia and the UK.
Minera produces 63+ grade Pellets with low Gangue content. It has very good physical properties like Cold Compression Strength(CCS) 94% min Tumbler Index (TI) and less than 4 % Abrasion Index (AI) and Porosity of 24 min.

OUR PROCESS
Iron ore fines are heated to remove moisture, and then processed with coke, limestone, bentonite, and water to form high-quality pellets.

Minera has adapted to innovative and efficient technologies such as the straight grate pellet plant from Ural Mash, Russia. In 2018, we included coal gasification in the sponge iron production to reduce dependence on harmful sulphur-dioxide producing furnace oil – resulting in greater efficiency and lesser pollution.
