Minera is an integrated steel company. Our primary operation begins with mining and then we transform raw ore into steel. We then provide other steel making companies across India with different raw materials to help them with their steel production process.
We’re one of the few facilities of our kind that does not depend on other iron and steel producers for any raw material and that makes us completely self reliant. Being fully integrated, from mining to finished steel, allows us to have complete control over quality at every phase of our production. More importantly, because we have our own mines, we are able to drastically reduce the levels of Alumina, Silica and Phosphorus, making our Iron and steel produce truly high on quality.
We maintain an unwavering commitment to sourcing top-tier raw materials for our production processes. Notable examples include our acquisition of state-of-the-art technology from Russia to operate our plants and our sourcing of high-grade coal from South Africa. These strategic choices significantly contribute to ensuring that our final output consistently meets the highest quality standards.

Collaborations & partnerships

Minera believes in working together with others to make everyone benefit. We have formed partnerships with coal mine owners in South Africa and Indonesia, which guarantee a steady and dependable supply of coal for Minera's own use and for trading. Additionally, Minera has created a joint venture called Newgen Resources Pte Ltd, focused on trading various products like coal, iron ore, manganese ore, chrome, iron ore pellets, agricultural products, steel, coking coal, fertilisers, and more.
